Where it is possible for visual or qualitative reasons, pasty or slurry material is used to reduce cooling times of produced candles and reduce raw material costs. Know-how and a special plant by Herrhammer are required to create this material.
First the liquid raw material is mixed in a boiler with stirrer into a homogenous mass. Using a high-pressure pump, this mixture is pumped into the scraper cooler HSK and is cooled down below the melting point and homogenized into a pasty mass, the “slurry”. Then the pasty material can be processed further in a filling machine (HMF), for example.
As with all Herrhammer lines, we fulfill the individual customer wishes and the plant is modified depending on the candle type and requirements. To name just a few – you can fill grave lights, oil lights, glass candles and fragranced candles.
